Due to continual business growth and development we are recruiting for an assembly team leader to join us at our busy engineering site in Frome, Somerset. Across our three buildings we manufacture gym equipment, taking it from raw steel and transforming it into luxury strength training equipment that is sent to customers all over the world.
Duties and person specification:
Your main duties will be leading the team who are building-up of our vast range of products.
The role will require you to come in and learn our equipment, helping us to allocate work to the correct people, managing the delivery of products in line with our tight targets and motivating the team to get the very best out of them. Responsibilities

• Managing the team of 6 assembly workers.
• Allocating work loads.
• Working with your production managers to fulfil information required on our short interval control boards.
• Motivating and inspiring your team to work together to meet deadlines and targets.
• Assisting production managers with employee appraisals and performance management.
• Building gym equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a manager/leader.
• Experience within an assembly/fabrication manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable demonstrating the work rate and endeavour you expect from your team.

Working Hours:
Mon - Thurs 8-5pm
Friday - 8-3:45pm
Total Paid hours per week - 39.
Plenty of opportunities for overtime (paid at 1.5X).
