Project description
Development of new solutions based on W360 Content & Portals roadmap OR requests received from Business teamsResponsibilities
Solution development: Design, develop, and implement Share Point
solutions, including customizations, web parts, workflows, and integrations, using Share Point Online, and related technologies.
Technical expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise in
Share Point development, including Share Point Framework (SPFx), Java Script, HTML, CSS, modern Web technologies like React, and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other team members to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
Code reviews and quality assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure
adherence to coding standards, and implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality Share Point solutions.
Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the stability and optimal performance of Share Point solutions.
Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment guides, to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously stay updated with the latest Share Point and related technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
Mentorship and knowledge sharing: Provide guidance, support, and
mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
Skills
Must have
Proven experience as a Senior Developer, preferably in Share Point development and solutions.
Strong technical expertise in Share Point development, including Share Point Online, Share Point Framework (SPFx), Java Script, HTML, CSS, modern Web technologies like React, and related technologies.
Expertise in components like Front door, Azure Function, App or Web
Services, SQL Databases, Power Platform and Power BI as ways to extend
Share Point capabilities to deliver on business requirements
Experience with code quality tools like Sonar Qube
Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tools
Experience in designing and developing custom Share Point solutions,
including web parts, workflows, customizations, and integrations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, coding
standards, and version control systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Azure Dev Ops, is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
