Now we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in 3D modeling, preferably in Building Information Modeling (BIM). Experience in other business domains related to 3D modeling and visualization will also be considered.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the client’s BIM team to design and develop a cutting-edge 3D viewer solution. This application will enable users to manipulate and visualize massive 3D models seamlessly on both web and mobile platforms.
The team faces exciting challenges, particularly in performance optimization for handling complex and large-scale models. They are dedicated to leveraging the latest technologies, frameworks, and AI tools to create innovative solutions for rendering and interacting with 3D models within a BIM context.

• Design and implement web applications that enable users to visualize, manipulate, and interact with BIM models in real-time.
  
• Develop solutions for rendering and interacting with BIM data using advanced web technologies, including Three.js, Web GL, and Web GPU.
  
• Optimize rendering pipelines for performance and scalability to ensure efficient operation on both web and mobile platforms.
  
• Utilize Web GPU and Web Assembly (WASM) to achieve high-performance rendering and manage GPU resources effectively to handle large and complex 3D models.
  
• Plan and execute large-scale projects and refactorings, ensuring the scalability, maintainability, and efficiency of BIM-related applications.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and UI/UX designers, to implement BIM workflows that meet intuitive and user-friendly design standards.
  
• Research and prototype innovative solutions, leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance BIM workflows and improve 3D visualization performance.
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  
• 8+ YOE in software development, with a focus on 3D visualization, graphics programming.
  
• Familiarity with BIM and related workflows, tools, and standards.
  
• Proficiency in C++, Rust, and Web Assembly (WASM) for developing and running browser-compiled code.
  
• Experience with consuming Viewer SDKs.
  
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, matrices, and vectors, with applications in 3D graphics and transformations.
  
• Hands-on experience with Web GL, Web GPU, Three.js or other 3D graphics APIs for rendering 3D models in web browsers.
  
• Deep knowledge of 3D rendering techniques, including tessellation, level of detail (LOD), and foundational concepts like meshes, vertices, and normals.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, essential for effective teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
  
• Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching team members within international and distributed teams, showcasing strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor effectively across diverse geographical locations.

• Ability to leverage AI tools to extract, analyze, and manipulate BIM data for enhanced workflows and insights.
  
• Specialized training in BIM tools or 3D graphics technologies are a huge advantage.
