Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist who will have the main responsibility to implement, develop and report the processes related to the company's Quality Management System in line with the company's policies and strategies. The role is based in our Tuzla factory.
Responsibilities:

Ensuring the continuity of the Quality Management System (QMS)
-
Ensuring the continuity of the documentation system and keeping it up to date
-
Carrying out supplier audits and development studies
-
Planning and carrying out company internal audits and following up on relevant improvement actions
-
Operating the customer complaint tracking system
-
Following up 8D studies regarding complaints from customers
-
Ensuring the necessary effective communication with customers
-
Leading customer audits
-
Monitoring the effective closure of audit actions
-
Operating the customer complaint tracking system and following up 8D studies on incoming complaints, ensuring the necessary communication with customers
-
Taking an active role in problem solving studies
-
Taking responsibility for the corrosion laboratory and carrying out the necessary paint and coating tests
-
Continuous improvement, taking part in 5S projects
-
Providing support for the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45OO1 management systems within the scope of the Integrated Management system.
Qualifications:
-
Graduated from engineering and education faculties of universities, preferably from Industrial, Electrical, Metallurgical and Materials, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering or Chemistry departments
-
At least 2 years of experience in quality management systems
-
Fluent in spoken and written English
-
Having knowledge and experience about the ISO 9001 standard
-
Having knowledge and experience about the QDMS Quality Management Program
-
Performed Internal Audit, Experienced in leading external audits
-
Knowledgeable about FMEA, SPC, MSA issues
-
Knowledge of problem-solving methods such as 8D, root cause analysis, Ishikawa
-
Residing or able to reside on the Anatolian side of Istanbul
-
No travel restrictions
-
Result oriented, able to take initiative,
-
Able to think analytically and prone to teamwork
-
Developed job follow-up and problem-solving skills, paying attention to details
-
Experienced in coating and corrosion issue.
