JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a experienced Low Layer Developer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments across multiple industries such as automotive, telecommunications, industrial automation, and consumer electronics. You will be responsible for developing embedded software, focusing on tasks such as power management (power up/down), logging mechanisms, and optimizing performance and memory handling for different client needs.
As a consultant at Sigma Embedded Engineering, you will work directly with clients to deliver high-quality, efficient software solutions that meet their specific industry requirements. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that require innovation and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize embedded software solutions for clients across multiple industries, including automotive, telecommunications, industrial automation, and more.
• Focus on critical tasks such as power management, logging mechanisms, and optimizing system performance and memory handling.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams in the development of complex software products using C++, C, and Java.
• Create and maintain CI test cases using Python to support continuous integration and automated testing efforts.
• Integrate and optimize systems with platforms such as Android Auto OS and QNX, adapting solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
• Contribute to the test automation process, ensuring that software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
• Provide technical support to clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, your experience includes:
Embedded Software Development for complex software products using C++, C, and Java.
Creating and maintaining CI test cases with Python for continuous integration and automated testing.
Familiarity with Android Auto OS and QNX, or similar embedded platforms.
Experience with test automation and software quality assurance processes.
Strong background in one or more sectors such as Automotive Engineering, Telecommunications, or Industrial Automation.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• A University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
