About the job
As a Software Developer Connected Devices, based at our headquarters, you'll be part of a cross-functional team taking end-to-end responsibility for the development and maintenance of connected devices related to wound care. You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software, utilizing wireless connectivity to enable communication between devices, mobile apps, and digital platforms, ensuring data integrity and security.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with electronic engineers, designers, lab engineers, scientists, and regulatory experts to ensure successful product development and delivery. Your responsibilities will include defining software requirements, developing architecture design, coding and testing, and collecting and analyzing data to support the development of innovative concepts and products. Additionally, you will create app prototypes for product demonstrations and play a crucial role in selecting the tools necessary for software development.

About the job

What you'll need
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and embedded systems.
- Proficient in writing structured and testable code in C or similar languages, following industry guidelines and best practices.
- Cross-functional skillset with foundational knowledge in adjacent areas such as application development, electronics engineering, embedded systems, sensors, connectivity, low-power applications, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle process standards used in regulated industries, such as IEC 62304 for medical devices or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Broad experience ranging from embedded solutions to application development.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including agile development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies.
