Head of ICT/OTT Products
My name is Hein Müskens, and I’m looking for an inspiring leader — a Head of ICT/OTT Products — who will be responsible for overseeing the development and operations of product platforms in the areas of IT Services, Communications, and Crowd Insight. This role involves leading a team of 200 highly skilled professionals to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of these platforms.
Common IT is responsible for the design, development, operation, maintenance, and assurance of IT assets and services. It is also responsible for the lifecycle and end-to-end experience of common IT systems, including application development, maintenance, operations, and IT infrastructure operations, as well as 2nd and 3rd level support. We work closely with local IT organizations to deliver value to the business and its customers. Our unit consists of six domains, CIO office and two staff function teams, with around 1,200 employees across the Telia footprint.
The new Technology Unit will consist of three units (Common Products, IT and Networks) with the purpose to serve as the strategic technology partner for the group, proactively providing expertise and options for scale. The Technology Unit is responsible for anticipating and addressing emerging technological needs, driving digital transformation initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency. Our team collaborates closely with all business units to align technology investments with corporate objectives, fostering innovation, operational excellence, and resilience. We prioritize scalable, secure, and sustainable services and solutions that optimize infrastructure, leverage data intelligence, and improve customer experience, ensuring our technology capabilities stay ahead in a dynamic telecom landscape.

As the Head of ICT/OTT Products…
You will lead and manage the ICT/OTT Products unit, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. You'll drive product development and optimize spending based on country-specific demands. Your role includes aligning the development, implementation, and maintenance of product platforms across various countries. You’ll ensure these platforms are efficiently managed to support profitable business operations and maintain competitiveness in the market.
Additionally, you’ll develop strategies to enhance platform performance and reliability, ensuring your team has the skills and resources needed to meet objectives and operational requirements (such as OLA, efficiency, and compliance). You'll stay updated with industry trends and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Who we are looking for…
We are looking for someone with proven experience in a senior leadership role within the ICT/OTT domain, with a strong focus on customer-centric product platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage and motivate a large team of professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are essential, along with experience in product management, development, and strategic planning. Additionally, experience in leading cross-border operations is highly valued.
Key skills and qualifications include leadership and team management, strategic planning and execution, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. You should also have experience in leading software development and project management, along with knowledge of IT services, communications, and crowd insight platforms. Additionally, relevant experience working directly with SME and Enterprise customers is essential.
The location of the position in Stockholm, Sweden.
