About the job

The role covers the support for the ongoing development, training, and implementation, of the Outside Service Providers for the last mile within Spain and Portugal, as well as the control of the entire legal environment.

What you´ll do:

• Provide support needed on the implementation of new OSP companies/for the service meetings/for negotiations with OSPs.

• Prepare contingency plans.

• Follow up on audit findings.

• Travel to UPS and OSP centers, frequently.

• Provide “Train the Trainer” workshops to operational people and OSP representatives.

• Prepare H&S activities to OSPs.

• Arrange meetings with potential providers (electric vehicles, last mile solutions, etc...).

• Assist to events related to sustainability, vehicles, products and service.

What you´ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or a Higher Professional Grade would be considered a Plus (or equal acquired through experience and positions).

• Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in UPS.

  • Package Operation experience.

  • Affinity with IE processes is a plus.

  • Experience with Procurement processes and Negotiations is a plus.

• Flexibility is important within our organization, also for the shift of this position:

  • 08:30 – 17:30

• Ability to travel.

• Preferred Driving License & own vehicle.

• Fluent Spanish.

• English: Medium level required. Portuguese is a plus.

• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• UPS systems skills (DIR, IVP, SEAS, APRS, IIQ, FVT, etc…).

• Have strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skill.

• Good MS Office Skills (specially Excel advanced, also databases, power point, mapping…).

• Good negotiation and analytical skills.

• Operations optimization and process improvement focus.

• Open minded approach, ability to find solutions in business complexity.

• Location: Madrid or Barcelona
