Educational Psychologist

Job Description
  • Conduct assessments to identify the learning and developmental needs of children.
  • Administer and interpret specialized psychological assessments to gather insights into the child's progress.
  • Develop and conceptualize intervention goals and strategies tailored to each child's needs.
  • Create individualized educational plans (IEPs) and end-of-intervention (EOI) reports to document outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized interventions.
  • Guide and support teachers and Learning Support Educators (LSEds) in using personalized strategies to enhance the child's learning experience.
  • Offer advice and strategies to parents and caregivers to help support the child’s development at home.
  • Train and co-train staff, parents, and caregivers on specific behavioral techniques and strategies.
  • Identify training and support needs, creating and leading the development of in-house resources for teachers and parents.
  • Develop and provide training on behavioral techniques or other relevant interventions.
  • Track and monitor clinical performance indicators, such as the achievement of IEP goals, and the overall progress of the intervention.
  • Assess and evaluate the success of interventions and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Design and conduct research or quality improvement projects to further enhance the effectiveness of early intervention programs.
  • Lead or co-lead projects aimed at improving the inclusion of children with learning and developmental needs in educational settings.
  • Perform any other executive work as directed by management, which may include administrative tasks or contributing to strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Applied Psychology or Educational Psychology.
  • Able to register with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a team setting.
  • Experience with preschool children or children with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism, Learning Disabilities) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (both spoken and written).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
