Dialysis Nurse - SN/ EN

Location: North East, acute setting
Working hours: 6 days, staggered working hours
Responsibilities:

Participate in assessing, implementing, and evaluating quality dialysis outcomes.
Perform hemodialysis cannulation and treatment per standard practices and guidelines.
Follow proper infection control procedures according to current guidelines.
Guide and direct enrolled nurses and junior staff to ensure quality patient care.
Document accurate and concise information on hemodialysis treatments, blood results, and parameters.
Administer intravenous antibiotics, IV erythropoietin, and blood transfusions during hemodialysis as per standards.
Collect water samples for culture to maintain safe water standards.
Collaborate with hospitals for blood investigations and follow-ups.
Work with dieticians to educate patients on nutrition and fluid compliance.
Take appropriate nursing actions in emergencies to ensure patient safety.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
Minimum of 1 year of experience as Dialysis Nurse.
Nitec/ Diploma or Degree in Nursing from SNB-approved training institutions.
