Senior Staff Nurse

Job Description:
- Comply with MOH & SNB standards of nursing practices.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the nursing home residents.
- Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan, recommends revision of care plans as necessary.
- Work with allied health professionals, initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Conduct and supervise assessments of all new admissions.
- Prepare and update clinical documentations.
- Prepare and administer medications to residents, comply with safe medication practices.
- Supervise and train junior nurses & support care staff.
- Work with supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Deal with any emergency that arises and ensures prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalates promptly to supervisor, where necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home.
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing RN full registration with the Singapore Nursing Board
