Job Title:
Change Management Engineer (Networks & Security) - Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
As a Change Management Engineer for Juniper Networks, you will serve as an on-site operational expert, providing technical support and expertise in networks and security. Collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, you’ll ensure network stability, conduct audits, manage critical issues, and enhance the overall security posture to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide change management support for customer operations and Juniper support teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including routing, switching, and security challenges.
- Conduct network audits and implement improvements to optimize performance and security.
- Collaborate with design teams to address constraints and develop optimal solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering professional, cost-effective guidance to stakeholders.
- Support JTAC cases, ensuring critical (P1/P2) issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Document status reports and provide regular updates to customers.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Juniper's product portfolio to address evolving network and security challenges.
- Ensure all network and security changes align with regulatory and organizational compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Certifications: CCIE, JNCIE-SP, ITIL (preferably ITIL v3 or ITIL 4).
- Minimum 12 years of experience in routing, switching, and network operations.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Layer-2/3 VPNs, and MPLS applications.
- Experience with Juniper SRX, E320, M-, MX-, and T-series platforms.
- Proficiency in advanced security technologies, including firewall policies, IPsec VPNs, and NAT.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage secure network changes effectively.
- Experience developing and executing change management plans for security configurations, ensuring minimal impact on network performance and compliance with policies.
- Knowledge of Pre-Authorization Testing (PAT) processes to ensure all changes are tested, documented, and reviewed appropriately.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities to support operational efficiency.
- Background in service provider environments and IP/MPLS infrastructure.
- Saud nationals only.
Required Skills:
- Analytical mindset to identify root causes and deliver solutions effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with English proficiency.
- Proven experience in customer service and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with PAT processes and project management lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
Working Conditions:
- 24/7 rotating shifts (morning, evening, night).
- On-site position based in Saudi Arabia.
