As part of our growth journey, we are seeking a Director of Sales and Relationship Management to lead a high-performing team in building and nurturing relationships with our valued clients.
In this role, you will focus on acquiring new customers, driving retention and business growth, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, overseeing collections, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding sales governance standards. Additionally, you will provide detailed performance reporting, collaborate with internal teams, and align your efforts with Lendo’s strategic goals.

Qualifications:

In this role, you will focus on acquiring new customers, driving retention and business growth, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, overseeing collections, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding sales governance standards. Additionally, you will provide detailed performance reporting, collaborate with internal teams, and align your efforts with Lendo’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of Relationship Management Leads and RMs to achieve individual and collective sales and relationship management targets.
- Develop and implement strategies for the team’s performance, growth, and professional development.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.
Customer Acquisition and Retention:
- Lead the strategy to acquire new customers, ensuring alignment with Lendo’s business objectives and market positioning.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Ensure the retention and satisfaction of existing clients through proactive engagement and superior customer service.
- Identify and seize opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Lendo’s services to drive revenue growth.
Go-To-Market Strategy and Execution:
- Collaborate with the leadership team in the creation and execution of Lendo’s GTM strategy.
- Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform the strategy and optimise execution.
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and product teams for effective GTM campaigns.
Regulatory Compliance and Sales Governance:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and Shari’ah compliance within the sales and relationship management functions.
- Monitor and ensure that sales processes and customer engagements comply with internal policies and legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain strict sales governance practices, ensuring transparency and ethical conduct in all dealings.
CRM Reporting and Performance Management:
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of detailed CRM reporting, tracking sales performance, customer interactions, and KPIs.
- Provide senior management with regular and insightful performance reports, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, client feedback, and team performance metrics.
- Continuously optimize sales processes and workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, legal, Risk & Credit operations) to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and customer service excellence.
- Work closely with the finance and collections teams to ensure timely collections and minimize the risk of non-performing assets.
- Play a key role in strategic planning and contributing to Lendo’s broader goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, or business development within the financial services, Fin Tech, or lending industry, preferably in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in Shari’ah-compliant financial products and services is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Proven successful customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth track record.
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, CRM systems, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance within financial services in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, focusing on results.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
