What we’re looking for

Tableau developer

What you’ll be doing

Analyze business requirements/functional specifications, design and develop final reports/dashboards, meeting deadlines, quality metrics and established standards;
Develop spot reports/views over DWH data for data exposure in Tableau;
Develop data sources and connections between Tableau and DWH;
Participates in the identification of technical solutions and performs effort estimates for assigned requirements;
Realizes the documentation of realized developments (development specifications, installation procedures, etc.);
Performs the testing of the realized developments, both unit tests and functional tests, before delivery to the UAT;
Maintains and optimizes existing developments/reports and updates the documentation;
Perform impact analysis of changes to existing data sources and reports;
Provide support to business department users in the use of Tableau application or DWH data;
Update access rights according to internal working procedures
Analyzes and resolves incidents reported by users or collaborators who ensure the operational management of BI applications;
Teaches and uses the programming techniques and work procedures agreed within BI.

What you need to know/have

Experience in using multiple technologies and programming languages specific to repoting tools (Tableau, SAP BO, Looker, etc);
Ability to develop and test code that can be deployed in production without prior supervision;
Advanced knowledge of Data Ware House and Data Mart concepts;
Knowledge and practical experience in using GCP, Oracle Database SQL, PL/SQL, triggers, triggers, procedures, packages, packages, functions, SQL queries and tuning;
Experience working with dimensional data model;
Knowledge in using ETL concepts;
Experience in handling large volumes of data;
Analytical skills and attention to detail;
Proactive attitude and good communication skills.
