• Perform safe and efficient 11k V switching operations on high-voltage electrical systems.

• Prepare and implement switching programs according to operational needs and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with control centers for approvals and operational alignment.

• Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of 11k V switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.

• Inspect and replace faulty components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.

• Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.

• Adhere to local and international electrical safety standards and protocols (e.g., Kahramaa, IEC, or local regulations).

• Implement lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance and repair activities.

• Diagnose electrical faults and perform corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment such as insulation testers, relay test kits, and thermal imaging cameras.

• Maintain accurate records of switching operations, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.

• Prepare incident reports and submit findings to supervisors or project managers.

• Update single-line diagrams, schematics, and operational manuals as necessary.

• Respond to power outages, equipment failures, or emergencies involving 11k V systems.

Skills:

• Proven experience in high-voltage systems (especially 11k V).

• In-depth understanding of 11k V electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.

• Familiarity with different types of circuit breakers (VCB, SF6, etc.).

• Capability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and schematics.
