- Plan, prepare, and deliver art lessons based on the IB MYP curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging, student-centered learning activities.
- Guide students in exploring various art techniques, media, and concepts.
- Foster an environment that encourages self-expression and creative risk-taking.
- Assess student work using IB MYP criteria and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary planning and project-based learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Maintain a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, inclusivity, and artistic growth.
- Manage classroom materials, equipment, and resources effectively.
- Prepare students for IB assessments and exhibitions, including the Personal Project and final MYP art projects.
- Participate in professional development and IB MYP training to stay current with curriculum updates.
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, events, and extracurricular activities related to the arts.
