We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in BMS and HVAC systems for multiple projects across various sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems, collaborating with a dynamic team and interacting with clients to ensure the smooth installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems.
Job Discription
As a Senior BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning HVAC control systems, as well as integrating third-party devices into BMS networks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of control systems, field sensors, and various communication protocols, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• BMS Testing & Commissioning:
• Perform standalone testing, sequence testing, and graphics demonstrations for BMS systems.
• Troubleshoot and verify control points, sensors, and system integrations.
• Oversee the commissioning of HVAC systems (AHU, VAV, FCU, VFD, etc.) through the BMS platform.
• System Integration & Troubleshooting:
• Integrate third-party devices and systems (Modbus, BACnet, Lon Works, KNX) into BMS networks.
• Ensure smooth communication between BMS and third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance and control functions.
• Graphics & User Interface:
• Verify and troubleshoot BMS graphics for user interfaces.
• Create and maintain operational graphics for control and monitoring.
• Client Interaction & Reporting:
• Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing queries via email and phone.
• Prepare and present daily progress reports, highlighting key activities and challenges.
• Attend customer meetings, providing updates and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Site Operations & Supervision:
• Supervise site activities for BMS testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Coordinate site operations and maintenance activities, ensuring efficient progress.
• Inspect systems and issue Inspection Requests (IRs) as necessary.
• Documentation & Coordination:
• Prepare required documentation for testing, commissioning, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure timely invoicing and documentation for the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: A degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in BMS testing, commissioning, and HVAC control systems.
• Proven experience with DDC controllers, HVAC system integration, and field instrumentation (sensors, flow/pressure control).
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as Modbus, BACnet/MSTP, Modbus/RS485, BACnet/IP, KNX, OPC.
• Familiarity with Siemens Desigo X-Works Plus, Desigo CC, ABT, DXR, and RXT systems is highly preferred.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems and HVAC controls (VAV, FCU, VFD, AHU).
• Experience with chiller and chilled water pump control programming.
• In-depth understanding of field sensors, instruments, and system integration.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to interact with clients and respond to queries in a timely manner.
• Project Management & Supervision:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with site supervision, maintenance coordination, and documentation.
