We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be proficient in English, with Arabic language skills preferred. A valid Qatar driving license is required for this role.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
• Handle the petty cash fund and reconcile petty cash transactions regularly.
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices and payments, resolving any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Prepare and submit invoices to clients in accordance with contractual terms and agreements.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are preferable.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
