Our TPM team partners cross-functionally to drive key strategic programs within Edge & Application Networking. Our team enjoys great visibility and is a key revenue and growth driver for Akamai's E&AN business
Have an impact on the future of Edge Delivery and Edge Compute
You will lead the engineering collaboration and orchestration efforts throughout the product lifecycle. You will help drive multiple complex projects and guide engineering teams to successfully deliver against business goals. You will help to identify, implement, and manage engineering operational best practices.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Building end-to-end program plans and driving execution from concept to deployment including product management
• Tracking and communicating business impact, mitigation plans on risks and issues, and landing dependencies between engineering teams
• Ensuring definition, alignment and focus on priorities
• Developing successful partnerships with engineering teams and other program stakeholders across the organization
• Focusing on improving engineering operations and providing visibility to other stakeholders

Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have professional experience as a TPM managing large and complex programs in software development and deployment.
• Be detail- and action-oriented, and a self-starter
• Demonstrate great interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Be able to anticipate, communicate and manage issues and risks
• Be able to adapt quickly and respond to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Possess a solid understanding of SDLC processes, waterfall and agile methodologies
• Have solid technical background and educational experience in computer science or engineering as additional asset
