About the job

We're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to architect, deploy, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure for our Tether Data Division. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a security-first mindset.
A suitable candidate should be credible and exhibit

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Experience managing mission-critical systems with 99.99% uptime requirements
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Proven track record of incident management and resolution
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
Strong security, threat detection and mitigation experience

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain high-availability infrastructure solutions at scale with hundreds of servers
Orchestrate deployments and updates across our infrastructure
Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
Conduct internal security audits and implement hardening measures
Provide technical mentorship to junior team members

5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administration
Strong expertise in:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Container orchestration (Docker/Podman)
- GPU container optimization and management
- Virtualization platforms (QEMU/KVM)
- Network architecture (VPN, SDN, Load Balancing)
- Security practices and infrastructure hardening
- Node JS application deployment and scaling
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git Lab / Github CI)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Version control systems (Git)
- Usage of FIDO2 and Yubikeys for server administration
