Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some background in HVAC/R systems, mechanics, and appliance repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC helper will work as part of a team to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities

• Assist in installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems according to specifications.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in building and assemble components for HVAC systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with tools used in the trade, including but not limited to ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Certification in HVAC or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
