Job Overview
The After School/Camp Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the overall operation and management of the camp. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for campers. The Camp Director will be responsible for planning and implementing camp programs, managing staff, and ensuring that all activities align with the camp's mission and values. This is a faith-based program where we teach the love of God to our students. We are looking for someone who has strong management skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Duties for After School:
- Assist students with homework
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students in interactive learning activities
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and behavior
- Incorporate creative arts, music, and movement into daily activities
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and diversity-----Create activities, schedules, and crafts to keep students engaged and entertained.
-Read daily devotionals, biblical lessons, and assist in praying for and with others.
Duties for Camp:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive camp program that meets the needs of campers and aligns with our faith based program.
• Create a positive and inclusive camp culture that fosters personal growth and teamwork among campers.
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, budgeting, and plan field trips.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers to address concerns and provide updates on camp activities.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as camp policies.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback from campers and staff to continuously improve offerings.

Skills

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both staff and campers.

• A passion for outdoor education, youth development, and creating memorable experiences for campers.
