WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SUPERVISORKEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
The core function and scope of the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor is to:
· Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service in the inventory team
· Manage daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
· Tracking the progress of shipments.
· Coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations.
· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle · Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
· Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
· Comply with laws, regulations and OHS&E requirements of the Sultanate
· Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations
· Resolve any arising problems or complaints
SELECTION CRITERIA
· A minimum of 03 years of proven working experience as a logistics or inventory supervisor/executive
· Record of successful distribution and logistics management
· Proficient in standard logistics software
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
· Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain (optional and added advantage)
· Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external expectations
· Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to make Decisions under pressure
· Good commercial and business understanding
· Working knowledge of various types of telecommunication equipment.
