Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor & Permit Holder to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and manage the necessary permits. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of civil works, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision
- Oversee daily civil construction activities to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other site personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to project specifications.
- Permit Management
- Obtain and manage all necessary permits and approvals required for the project.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and local authorities' requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for permit-related queries and documentation.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and risk assessments on-site.
- Address and resolve any safety concerns promptly.
- Resource Management
- Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor resource utilization and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Quality Control
- Ensure all construction works meet specified standards and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and resolve any defects or quality issues on-site.
- Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress, and issues.
- Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and standards.
- Familiarity with local permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing HSE standards on construction sites.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management tools.
Pay: RO300.000 - RO350.000 per month
