Program Manager, Automation Lifecycle Management

The NOV Automation Lifecycle Management Group wants to strengthen the department and is looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Norway. As a Program Manager with NOV’s Automation Lifecycle Management Group, you will lead a dedicated team of project managers working at the forefront of automation technology. Together with your team, you will deliver customer programs, supporting our automation solutions to optimize drilling and pipe handling performance with our customers.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Guide, support, and inspire your team to foster a collaborative and innovative environment where everyone can excel.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop automation programs that align technology with their operational goals, creating long-lasting results.
  • Act as a Group Manager with personnel and operational responsibilities.
  • Lead initiatives to establish new customer programs and expand our portfolio.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders as the primary escalation point, ensuring seamless communication and proactive support at every step.
    • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and program management experience.
  • High commercial and technical understanding, with experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a managerial position within the oil and gas industry. Including P+L finance accountability within an operation and proficient in financial analysis/forecasting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Proficiency in drilling automation systems a plus.
