HSE Specialist

NOV EPS Segment is looking for a passionate and highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team in Norway. This critical role will empower you to drive health, safety, and environmental programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems.
Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations, maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities.
Conduct and support risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits to promote injury and risk prevention.
Deliver HSE training, including inductions, to enhance awareness and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:
Essential:

A BSc or MSc in HSE, engineering, or a related discipline (experience can substitute for formal education).
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated HSE role, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
Fluency in English and Norwegian (mandatory due to regulatory and operational requirements).
Proficiency in HSE management systems and IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Desired:

Expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Industrial Protection standards.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety training programs for a diverse workforce.
Strong interpersonal skills to bridge communication between management and employees effectively.
Experience in auditing, incident investigation, and corrective action implementation.
