Business Development/Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development/Sales Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients in the oil and gas and construction industries. Proximity to VGC, Lagos, and familiarity with ERP tools are key requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven success in business development or sales, preferably in oil and gas or construction.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to use or learn ERP tools.
- Proximity to VGC, Lagos, Nigeria.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Preferably female for gender balance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive insights.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and sales presentations.
- Attend industry events to network and generate leads.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Utilize Quick Books for accurate sales and financial record management.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the management team.
