Job Responsibilities
Solutions Designer
- Participates in client interview, site visit, follow-on clarification; needs documentation.
- Ensures customer needs and priorities are adequately captured during Client.
- Consultation and the proposal development.
- Designs solution diagrams (Proficiency in CAD Designs; Proprietary Design Software. Designs: Product Designs, Various 2-D & 3-D Designs; Detailed Specifications solutions) in accordance with client requirements and/or internal requirements.
- Oversees implementation of design solutions according to designs and specifications.
- Ensures execution is effective and efficient, i.e. to specification, within scheduled timeline, within budget and within our Company’s quality standards.
- Ensures execution outcomes exceed clients’ expectations.
- Contributes to defining quality standards, templates and procedures and aims towards the attainment of excellence.
- Ensures that designs are implemented accurately, and in accordance with the optimum quality standards.
- Identifies Quality Risks and Impediments and mitigates against these
- Enhances ability to design winning solutions through self development.
- Acts as content and subject matter expert on design subjects
- Be sensitive to client’s needs at all times during the design and execution of solutions and always aim towards their satisfaction.
- Support colleagues and subordinates in succeeding.
- Engender positive team spirit.
