Join our team at thl and be part of preserving this precious taonga. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our cleaning crew and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors to experience the magic of Waitomo.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular spot checks and cleaning duties to maintain high standards across all facilities.
- Collaborate with the Manager to plan and manage tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain stock, equipment, and consumables, and request replacements as needed.
- Support the team in meeting Health and Safety requirements and ensure compliance.
- Assist with planning for holiday cleaning requirements.
- Report faulty equipment and ensure timely resolution.
- Current driver's license.
- First Aid qualification (Level 1) is an advantage.
- Ability to engage and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
- Energetic, professional, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Availability for a 7-day operation, including weekends.
- Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Ao Māori is an advantage.
- General fitness level to perform physical tasks.
