Job description

As Team Lead, you will be the owner of our Dev Ops and SRE strategy and you will manage a team of high-performing and driven engineers. Together with your team, you will support millions of edge devices worldwide. You will be in charge of shaping the roadmap, steering the direction and making sure we are on the cutting edge. From tooling to architecture, you will lead operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to share your vision and solve complex challenges.

As Team Lead, you will be assigning tasks, ensuring appropriate complexity and workload distribution among team members, and ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, business continuity, and healthy resource planning. You will support and coach team members, providing them formal and informal feedback regularly to estimate task completion times accurately, create efficient plans optimizing time management, set priorities aligned with business needs, collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across teams, develop skills and knowledge to increase their contribution to Helin. Foster innovation by encouraging team members to propose new working methods, identify opportunities for personal development, and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You are someone who gets a kick out of driving important changes. Someone who leaves a mark!

And you:

• Are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations).
• Have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Have experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure as Code, as well as with Auth0, Cloudflare, MLOps, and AI Pipelines
• Have exceptional English communication and people skills; you are adept at conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

And it would be great if you have experience in a fast-growing scale-up international environment.
