Your role

As an ICT Business Analyst in the DEBT team, you will be performing the following tasks:

• Day-to-day Application management/Application support: answer user questions, maintain security profiles, user management, adapt application settings, perform daily checks.
• Troubleshooting of issues, using an analytical hands-on approach (using tools like SQL and a generic understanding of relational databases).
• Analyse business processes, translate business requirements to functional requirements and implementations.
• You actively participate in various projects which can impact multiple applications.
• Cooperate with and manage vendors of our software packages.
• Cooperate with and manage our suppliers.

The salary range for this role is around € 85- 90 K (full-time, gross per year), depending on your experience.

Your team

The ICT department is responsible for the ICT activities within FMO and consists of five teams: ICT Infrastructure, ICT Service Desk, Development, ICT Applications Product Administration & Reporting Applications, and ICT Applications Generic Applications. All teams work with clear guidance from Enterprise Architecture and Quality & Control. The teams are further organized in cross-functional teams that also have non-ICT members.
The FMO ICT Applications Product Administration & Reporting Applications team is responsible for managing and maintaining FMO’s business applications and is looking for an ICT Business Analyst in the DEBT team. This team is responsible for, among other applications, ACBS, Prommise, and FDT.
As part of team DEBT, you’ll be responsible for ensuring FMO has the business processes and IT systems it needs to deliver financial services to entrepreneurs in developing countries. You’ll need to understand FMO’s products, processes and organization, and interface with colleagues in the business to identify and define the right solutions for their needs. That could involve anything from streamlining processes to exploring and implementing brand-new technologies.

Your background

You have a bachelor’s degree and have well-known overall ICT knowledge, especially in the area of databases and SQL.
In addition, knowledge of the following area’s is required: Oracle SQL, SQL Server database, Microsoft SSIS.
Analytical and problem-solving skills are as important as IT skills.

• You have three to five years of experience in Business analysis.
• You are experienced in requirements engineering. Translating business (preferably in banking) requirements into IT solutions taking several preconditions into account. You are familiar with best practices (e,g, specification by example, user stories).
• You have familiarity with (corporate) banking processes (e.g. KYC, New credit process, Investment Mgt/Portfolio Mgt) is a pre.
