Job Description
Being part of our team as a Storekeeper means you will be part of our Finance team and you will work closely with our Heart of House team. Your main responsibilities are:

Receiving deliveries

• Acceptance and control and distribution to the departments of all incoming deliveries

• Performing quality checks and recording of temperatures of food deliveries

• Tidiness of delivery area

• Following up with suppliers regarding incorrect deliveries

• Maintaining close communication with F&B and Rooms to ensure ordered items are received properly and in good condition

• Maintain a good relationship with suppliers

• Adhere to and enforce the Receiving Policy and Procedures.

Procurement system

• Processing receipts in our procurement system (Birch Street) and ensure all goods are correctly received in Birch Street

• Full embracement of Birch Street; Maintain and monitor purchasing master products lists, where in place

• Ensure accurate and timely entry of receiving information into the P2P system (Birchstreet).

• Generate and maintain the "Daily Receiving Log" for deliveries.

Stores

• Ensure that all items are transported and stored to the respective storage areas immediately

• Monitor inventory and adherence to the stocks requirements

• Assist in monthly inventory counts

• Regular checks on inventories, avoiding excessive stocks beyond budget and loss of goods

• Controlling cleanness in all storerooms & cold storages, ensuring that hygiene standards are met (HACCP)

Required skills and competences
Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a Storekeeper in restaurants, hotels or a similar work environment and values hospitality.
To successfully fulfill this role, it is important that you have the following skills:

• Your eye for detail oversees everything and you will ensure that all tasks will always be performed to the correct standards.

• You are creative in coming up with solutions and can quickly switch between various parties.

• Excellent communication skills, also in English

• A positive and proactive attitude

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Familiar with HACCP

• A social character

Furthermore, you have good organization, communication and PC skills. You make contact easily, communicate with our suppliers and maintain internal and external relations at all levels.
