What you should know about Truvity

Truvity was born out of the idea that there must be a better way to manage, verify, and share data and credentials. That there must be an alternative to facing millions in compliance fees, the administrative panic for an audit, or even the shockingly complex process of verifying that a customer is truly who they claim to be.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a public API that targets a high level of Developer Experience (DX) on all levels (documentation, SDKs).
  
• Constantly improve current applications for better reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  
• Keep the codebase clean, readable, testable, and linters-compliant.
  
• Work closely with Dev Ops to release applications regularly and dig into issues (when needed) to find and fix the root causes.
  
• Work closely with the system architect so that any big feature starts from a "Proposal for implementation".
  
• Work closely with the QA team to provide and receive feedback on potential (or found) issues in different use-case scenarios.
  

What you will need to have

• You have a math or computer science background. Diplomas are not required, but knowing graph theory and big O notation is desirable.
  
• You know your way around web services.
  
• You know Golang well and at least one of Python, C++, C, Java/C# or Typescript.
  
• You are familiar with modern build systems (especially code generation), Unix-based operating systems, containers (Kubernetes or Docker), and cloud-native services.
  
• You are a self-learner. You can analyze the code and documentation yourself, and you can ask questions when needed.
  
• You are passionate about quality and reliability. This goes a long way as we are a Reg Tech business, and thus our solutions support critical processes of organizations.
  
• You can take honest and direct feedback and openly discuss problems.
  
• You are not afraid of complex problem domains.
  
• Knowledge of front-end technologies is a plus.
  

• Unfortunately, we are not able to support relocation, or applicants from outside the EU without an already valid work permit for the Netherlands.
