(Senior) Formulation Scientist - Fulltime (32/40)


Purpose of the Role


As a (Senior) Formulation Scientist, you will play a key role in the development of scalable drug formulations while providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure project success. You will collaborate across teams to solve technical challenges, lead experiments, and contribute to regulatory submissions, ensuring alignment with Delpharm’s mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess material requirements to prepare for upcoming projects.
• Provide support in understanding and solving technical challenges in formulation development.
• Interpret data and make informed decisions based on analysis.
• Plan, design, perform, and lead scientific experiments for scalable drug product formulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all scientific activities, including digital notebooks, batch records, and reports.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions, including formulation development reports and stability data.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and Tech Transfer teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.
• Write and review User Requirements Specifications (URS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Guide and mentor entry-level team members to foster a culture of growth and expertise.
• Facilitate smooth operations within the Formulation team and provide advice on team development and equipment needs.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to integrate formulation activities with overall project goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant field.
• 2-3 years of experience in formulation development or related fields.
• Proven expertise in formulation and process development.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and process equipment selection.
• Understanding of analytical activities and process design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
