We're on the lookout for Senior Consultants adept at senior stakeholder management and complex project delivery who enjoy taking responsibility for project delivery.

Your job

As a skilled Senior Consultant you will have end to end responsibility for multiple projects/programs within one of our expertise. Your mission: you serve our clients by realizing high quality execution within set time frame and budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects, developing project plans, and managing all phases of project execution.
• Act as a trusted advisor for senior management and answer to stakeholders and Steer Co.
• Serving the interest of the bank by focussing on the bigger picture and include stakeholders.
• You secure support for strategic changes and projects / programmes, and are responsible for implementing them.
• Within the bank, you are an authority in your own field of expertise related to projects and processes. You enable fellow professionals to enhance their skills.
• You are able to make complex programmes comprehensible and decide on the approach to be taken in projects.
• You focus on the long term. You are regard as a trusted advisor by your counterparts and do everything possible - both professionally and in the area of the relationship - to ensure that this is the case.
• You advise on highly complex matters that have a major impact on the bank and coordinate how they are dealt with.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and delivering solutions to any challenges that arise.
• Leading a team of consultants and business experts, sharing best practices and acting as a sparring partner for colleagues within SE&I.
• Organizing and chairing meetings between key project stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment and effective decision making.
• Monitoring progress against project timelines and tracking project risks and issues, dependencies on other programmes, business-as-usual activities, and interdependencies between workstreams.
• Reporting project progress and risks to the client.

As a Senior Consultant in our Strategy Execution & Implementation department, you'll be part of Regulatory & Compliance Consultancy one of the six Consultancy Expertise teams.

What we do?
Within our Regulatory & Compliance Consultancy Expertise, 20+ SE&I consultants help our internal clients grow and solve their most important challenges within change in the area of Regulatory & Compliance. ABN AMRO is constantly facing new and changing laws and regulations that must be complied with. Regulations are becoming more stringent, as is their enforcement. This Expertise is responsible for bank-wide support for these changes. In addition, this Expertise supports the delivery of compliant, controlled and efficient client life cycle processes.

The services we offer:
Regulatory & Compliance Consultancy: Impact assessments for new regulations, changes to existing regulations or major policy changes, design and implementation of new and existing regulations, compliance transformation, design and implementation of improved and automated processes for life cycle management.

Your profile

You're a strong conceptual thinker and an expert in your area of expertise. You bring a hands-on mentality, a drive to change and improve. As a highly experienced professional, you take an independent approach to your work. You do not shy away from difficult discussions and are familiar with resistance. You have excellent communication skills, are goal-orientated and solution-led. As a result, you are able to optimally manage your stakeholders with a high level of responsibility.

Check your profile:

• A university level aducation with ~12+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a background in consultancy.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Extensive project/programme management experience preferably in financial institutions.
• Highly experienced in stakeholder management on the most senior level.
• Experience in- and extensive knowledge of different methodologies, such as Agile and Prince2.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is a must.

Furthermore:

• The gross monthly salary (min. Eur. 7.896 - max. Eur. 11.279) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible. The salary range is broad due to a combined scale; actual placement is determined upon offer, based on your knowledge, experience, and potential.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
• An excellent pension scheme.
