As Philips LED, Philips Hue & Wi Z Marketing Insights Intern you will support the European Consumer Category Management team in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data on consumer shopping behaviour, market trends, and competitors. Your contributions will provide valuable insights that drive marketing strategies, enhance product offerings, and improve consumer shopping experiences.

As Philips LED, Philips Hue & Wi Z Marketing Insights Intern you will support the European Consumer Category Management team in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data on consumer shopping behaviour, market trends, and competitors. Your contributions will provide valuable insights that drive marketing strategies, enhance product offerings, and improve consumer shopping experiences.

What you’ll do
- Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in collecting quantitative and qualitative data from various sources, including retail scanning data, surveys and market reports. Help analyse data and identify trends, insights, and key patterns in consumer and shopper behaviour.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Research and gather information on market trends, competitor activities, and retail developments (main sources: GFK, Nielsen, Remdash, Store checks).
- Report Generation: Assist in creating data-driven reports, presentations, and dashboards for various stakeholders. Summarize and visualize findings in easy-to-understand formats, including charts, graphs, and infographics. Present findings to the category management team and other relevant departments.
- General research support: Maintain and organize research files, databases, and tools. Assist in the preparation and distribution of questionnaires, interview guides, and other research materials.
Your qualifications
- Passionate about consumer marketing and eager to understand and learn how drive success using consumer insights.
- Passionate about Retail Marketing and in the consumer electronics world.
- Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Masters in Marketing, Design, Management, Marketing, Marketing Research or related studies.
- Strong analytical an problem-solving skills
- In possession of strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail; self-driven to deliver quality work.
- Able to display an excellent level of spoken and written English (to communicate internationally).
- Advanced in using Microsoft tools (especially Power Point and Excel).
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Notes
- EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
- Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
- Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies.
