Manager IT Vendor Management (Hardware/Software/Cloud)
As manager of the IT Vendor Management department (ITVM) Hardware/Software/Cloud, you and your team are responsible for managing all hardware/software/cloud suppliers within CITO and delivering added value every day within the dynamic IT world of CITO.
You & your job
You are responsible for the entire HW/SW/Cloud team: 15 Vendor & Contract Managers with several specializations and seniority levels. You manage the operational, tactical and strategic environment and all anticipated changes and external regulations. The combination of volume increases (ca 20% per year), regulatory complexity, challenges and pressure, dealing with the biggest global companies, their power and leverage and the intertwined dependencies between suppliers and Rabobank, makes this management position really interesting.

Design, optimize, and run standardized services on a global level
Incorporate IT-related policies and standards related to subjects such as Risk, Security, Compliance and Life Cycle Management in the ITVM processes
Drive continuous improvement and customer-centricity culture
Strategic global decision-making on board and executive level

The next years will be extremely challenging because of the strategic change that is expected from the Manager HW/SW/Cloud. Developing strategic insights and capabilities in the department and acting as a data-driven strategic advisor to MT CITO and the Managing Board for a vendor portfolio of hundreds of vendors requires excellent change management capabilities from the Manager HW/SW/Cloud

Top responsibilities

Shaping the CITO vendor strategy from a Hard- & Software and Cloud perspective
Shaping Rabobank’s vendor strategy for the biggest global vendors
Shaping the IT roadmap/ vision for the department
Shaping the IT sustainability strategy of the bank with respect to vendors and contracts

IT VM acts as ‘the bridge’ between CITO and her external partners and ensures a firm grip on all IT vendors within Rabobank.

The ca. 35 people in IT Vendor Management work to maximize the value received from vendors in the CITO domain, whilst being in control and compliant with internal and external regulations. You and your talent

Master’s degree education (preferably IT and Business Administration)
Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal & written)
10+ years of direct, full-time experience in Vendor and Contract Management, with the biggest global IT vendors
Long-term international work experiences within a corporate environment and complex, large IT environment
Deep understanding of global regulatory trends and changes
Very strong conceptual and strategic capabilities and strong problem-solving skills
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and manage high-level stakeholders
Long-term focus and ability to translate long-term goals into achievable sub-goals and planning

This position is in Utrecht. To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.
