Role Summary:
As Manager HR & GA at Hyundai Motor Netherland, you are responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the HR policy for the Dutch organization, where +/- 70 employees work. You will participate in HR projects, where you will build to ensure HR is well established in the organization. In this position you will advise and support the organization strategically and operationally in the field of personnel and organization. Additionally, you are in charge for compliance with Dutch Labour law, human rights and addressing ethical questions/issues.
We want you to:
- Ensure the HR handbook is up to date and in alignment with Dutch Labour Law
- Identify human and organizational consequences of proposals and plans and advice management accordingly
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop initiatives accordingly
- Advise management and staff up to date about all HR related topics such as policies, recruitment, salary, pension, staff appraisal, sickness and employment law
- Advise line management on the most effective use of HR instruments
- Advise line management on individual training needs of their staff
- Assist in the identification of promotable employees and potentials
- Recommend (future) training and development possibilities for potentials
- Manage the performance appraisal process
- Write job descriptions and keep existing job descriptions up to date
- Manage related HR systems and processes in close cooperation with HR HQ (HME)
- Ensure HR administrative procedures are effective and efficient
- Ensures a correct payroll, provides input for all mutations
- Prepare contracts of employment, salary letters, payroll information and staff benefits
- Bonus KPI process
- Make organization charts and maintain existing charts up to date
- Provide head count reports and other data for different reporting purposes
- Ensure official correspondence with employees takes place in a correct manner
- Advise and assist management with the recruiting & execution of the hiring process
- Manage necessary recruitment activities
- Review, screen and respond to received job applications for vacant positions
- Maintain contact with recruitment agencies
- Guide, develop, and motivate subordinate staff in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
- A graduate with a HR related HBO degree or higher.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience (as an HR Business Partner).
- Experience in stakeholder management and a multi-interest environment
- Knowledge of SAP Success Factors is an advantage.
- Experience in an Asian environment is an advantage
- Proactive self-starter, energetic, getting things done mentality
- Strong communicator, direct, able to connect with people easily
- Structured, precise, knows to plan and to set priorities
- Up to date knowledge of Dutch labour law
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Experience with payroll is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with computers and MS Office package
