HR Manager

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Oversee HR operations, including employee data management, HR metrics analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery to employees and managers.
- Create, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies are in line with current employment laws and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on policy-related matters.
- Lead and manage the HR Business Partners based in the UK and Spain, providing direction and support.
- Ensure HR Business Partners are effectively partnering with managers to address HR needs and support business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing HR team.
- Oversee payroll processes for multiple European countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with tax and social security regulations in each country.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice and support to managers and employees.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure managers are supported with their HR needs being a key contact for advice and support
- Manage performance management processes, including performance evaluations and development plans.
- Identify training and development needs and implement appropriate programs.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with local and international regulations.
- Address and resolve any compliance-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of broad HR experience in an international environment.
- Experience in HR operations, policy development, and managing HR teams.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications, epxerience with Hi Bob is preferred.
- Experience working in Europe, ideally in the following countries: Germany, Spain, Italy.
- Based in the Netherlands.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
