MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. RESPONSABILITIES
Project Leadership
In addition to being a project team member, officer may also work as a project leader. In the role of project leader, officer leads the project team consisting of about 5 people. The duration of the projects is approximately 3 years.

- Delivering a concept, product and/or process that meets the technical and economic specifications within the set project objectives (time, budget, quality).
- Identifying obstacles with regard to the above and communicating these to the relevant manager (group leader, project leader).
- Providing solution directions.
- Clear communication within the project team in order to ensure proper coordination and transfer of work packages.
- Communicating within the group.
- Communicate with and exchange expertise within the group in order to ensure group objectives.
Project Leadership

Functional leadership involves:
- investigating feasibility of the proposed project;
- distributing the work;
- giving directions and instructions;
- monitoring progress and quality;
- monitoring time, costs and specifications;
- technical coaching and training of project group members;
- providing input for performance and assessment interviews at the manager's request.
Communication with
- Group leader on the development of the field, own expertise, the distribution of capacity across tasks and the quality of the work delivered.
- Project leader on the specifications of the work to be delivered, preconditions such as time and budget, when reporting and presenting results and the progress of the project.
- Group colleagues on the development of the field, support in task performance and reviews.
- Project colleagues when coordinating activities within the project, specifications, reviews and transfer of task packages.
- Internal and external customers when transferring knowledge, presenting proposals and results, discussing and interpreting requirements together with the project leader.
- Suppliers, Purchasing and support departments in transferring specifications and checking what has been delivered.
WISHES Education & trainings
- Subject-specific BSc. /MSc. prior training in the relevant field such as mechanics, production engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, control engineering.
- Professional training such as vehicle technology, hydraulics, fatigue, tribology, converter technology, statistics.
- Specific product and process training, culture training, communication training, etc.
Experience
- Detailed drawings (2D) using 3D CAD system. (CREO and NX)
- Evaluate designs using design analysis tools (FMEA, DRBFM, computer models).
- Checking whether the specification has been realised through calculations and/or inspections.
- Analyse (test) results and document them for project administration purposes.
- Determining whether the result is within the specified tolerances.
- Performing tolerance studies (stack up).
- Performing design, strength and stiffness calculations using the Finite Element Method (FEM).
- (Co-)validating the design of test systems.
- Visiting suppliers with regard to component manufacturing.
