External


DHL customers
  • Portray a professional, courteous and helpful attitude in all dealings with internal and external customers.
  • Provide all Customers with accurate DHLE information to ensure timely and effective service quality.
  • Respect of DHL dressing code.


Achieve the agreed KPIs.
  • BOS
  • HV Improvement % of over 48 hrs


Internal

Import Customs Team Leader
  • Timely report issues to be raised to the higher level to get the appropriate support.
  • Support with the practical experience and knowledge
In daily activities to achieve goals and objectives.


External

Customs officials
§ Comply with Customs Compliance.

Other regulatory officials (Finance, Trade and Transportation)
  • Comply with the regulatory policy and rules to make DHL as reliable business partner.
  • Liaise on specific issue and problem if necessary.


Internal

Gateway staff at all levels
  • Build-up the co-operative relationship with the practical levels in Gateway and provide the positive attitude /solution when necessary.


Gateway Operations & Local Country Operations staff
  • Activate standard clearance procedure in accordance with DHL priorities and goals.


Process


Customs Clearance
§ Ensure the accurate preparation of import and export Customs declarations and the timely provision of those for review (as required).
§ Ensure that customer databases are maintained.
§ Resolve specific disputes or provide advice on technical issues with customers.
§ Maintain a thorough knowledge of Customs practices and procedures.

Customs Supervision
§ Contribute to team effort to ensure the attainment of both inbound and outbound shipment clearance, efficiently within clearance performance targets and transit time.

People - Management


  • Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organisation’s business processes.

§ 1-year relevant experience of working with customs clearance matters within transportation, logistics or import / export industry


Educational Qualifications


Transport Logistic Qualification / Customs Declarant Equivalent
