Position Overview: An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Human Resources Department for a Senior HR Business Partner. This pivotal role supports the Director of Human Resources and Organisation Development in enhancing a high-quality, effective, and efficient Human Resources Management function. The Senior HR Business Partner will play a key role in the strategic development of the organisation, cultivating a highly productive workforce, and fostering a positive employee relations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Change Management: Lead and facilitate organisational change initiatives.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Workforce Planning: Analyze and plan workforce needs to support organizational goals.
  • Training and Development: Oversee employee training programs and professional development.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a harmonious workplace.
  • HR Administration/HR Metrics: Maintain HR metrics and oversee administrative HR functions.
  • Policy Development and Research: Develop and update HR policies in line with best practices and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Essential Criteria:
  • Strong background and experience in Human Resources at a management level.
  • Minimum of five years relevant work experience, preferably within a large health sector organisation.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing an HR team.
  • Expert knowledge of employee relations issues, resolution mechanisms, and the employment legal framework.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in the public sector at a management level.
  • Postgraduate qualification, such as a CIPD certification.

  • Dynamic and versatile senior HR professional with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-aware with a compassionate leadership style that promotes team members' self-evaluation and growth.
  • Ability to positively influence and challenge the status quo.
  • Proven success in facilitating change management, problem-solving, excellent facilitation, and analytical skills.
