OCC are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be a valuable part of our business, leading the way commercially and having full accountability for their projects including both pre and post-contract commercial functions and contract reporting.

Responsibilities of the role include;
· Manage Subcontract Packages, overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consulting along with normal QS duties.
· Prepare the cost / value reconciliation reports accurately.
· Managing standard construction contract forms, including variations and final account agreements
· Ensure subcontract orders are prepared in accordance with company procedures.
· Attending meetings with the Client, design teams, subcontractors and specialist subcontractors
Qualifications, skills and experience;
· Quantity Surveying Degree or similar with 2+ years’ post-graduate experience.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Significant experience in main contracting market.
· Experience managing subcontract accounts.
· Experience working with traditional forms of contract.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret, and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
· Proficient in Excel and Cubit.
· Methodical, conscientious and organized, works to deliver high standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €55,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Ireland (required)
