Nolan Coaches is a well-established and respected transportation company, providing reliable and efficient coach services across Ireland. We are looking for a diligent and dependable Cleaner & Bus Shunter to join our team at our depot in Clonshaugh Industrial Estate.
Job Description:
As a Cleaner & Bus Shunter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet and safely moving buses within the depot. This is a key role ensuring that all vehicles are clean, presentable, and positioned correctly for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean the interior and exterior of buses to a high standard, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Refuel and conduct basic vehicle checks, such as checking fluid levels.
- Safely move buses within the depot, ensuring they are parked or positioned as needed for the next day’s schedule.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and notify the supervisor of any maintenance or supplies required.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols while handling cleaning products and during shunting activities.
- Assist with other depot tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Full, valid car driving license (essential).
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning or vehicle maintenance role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- A flexible and reliable team player.
- Ability to work during on weekends (13.00 to 22.00).
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
