The Print Production Operative will be responsible for assisting in the production of large format printing materials, signage projects, ensuring high-quality prints, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced printing environment. This role provides full training and requires someone who is used to manual work, enthusiastic, and able to work on their initiative. The Print Production Operative will report to the floor manager and will assist in operating and maintaining printing equipment, supporting the production team, and ensuring that all printing jobs are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and operating large format printing machinery to produce various printed materials including banners, posters, and signage.
• Ensure all printing jobs are completed accurately and within designated timelines.
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent output.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Handle and organize materials and supplies needed for printing jobs.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule printing jobs based on deadlines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Follow established procedures and quality control standards to ensure accuracy and consistency in printed materials.
• Assist in packaging and shipping finished products to clients as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Full training will be provided, no prior experience necessary for the right candidate.
• Experience with manual work is preferred.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced printing environment.
