We are a busy asbestos removal company looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety advisor. The successful candidate will have prior experience working as a H&S advisor within the Construction industry. The position is two days per week with excellent benefits for the right person
As a H&S Advisor, you will (full job description available on request):

Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Develop, implement, and monitor the safety program to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and comply with technical standards.
Identifying potential hazards and undertaking risk assessments on site.
Determining ways of reducing risk.
Review & update, Health & Safety documents, including Health & Safety Procedures, Safety Statement, Risk Assessment etc.

Requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
3+ years construction experience.
Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From €1.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
