The Facilities Associate-HSE will primarily be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
This role requires a proactive individual who can identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a background in HSE environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the Letterkenny GDC.
Additionally, the HSE Associate will be tasked with investigating incidents, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to influence and drive change within the organisation.
As a Facilities Associate in the Facilities and Admin team you will also be expected to fulfill additional responsibilities in the team as required such as helping to monitor and maintain the overall cleanliness and running of our Global Delivery Center.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead HSE Cross functional meetings and drive our journey towards ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Conduct training sessions, audits, and inspections to ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
- Investigating incidents, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Drive the Sustainability journey of the Global Delivery center towards Carbon Neutral campus by 2027.
- Lead initiatives to increase biodiversity across our campus.
- Foster a good listening and response mechanism for employees on all facility and workplace issues.
- Documentation maintenance and management of Audits where applicable.
- Liaise with external agencies directly involving facility operation.
- Additional Facilities & Administration duties as required.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
- Passionate about health, safety, and environmental management
- Currently hold or is working towards certification in HSE related discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.
