As a Service Now Developer, you will develop and support enterprise-grade solutions to streamline processes across the client’s operations. Working closely with stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality Service Now applications and integrations to enhance operational efficiency and meet critical business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance Service Now platform solutions tailored to business needs, including ITSM, ITOM and CMDB modules.
- Customize workflows, automation, and integrations to deliver efficient and reliable business processes.
- Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems.
- Develop and optimize Service Portals and user-friendly interfaces to enhance user experiences.
- Ensure platform compliance, scalability, and security through adherence to Service Now best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Contribute to the development of CMDB strategies, including discovery, data population, and governance.
- Support platform upgrades, ensuring compatibility and performance of customizations.
- Drive innovation by introducing new Service Now features and modules to support evolving needs.
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with Service Now development, including modules like ITSM, ITOM and CMDB.
- Strong scripting skills using Java Script, Angular JS, APIs, and Service Portal customization.
- Expertise in designing and developing Workflows, Catalog Items, and advanced configurations.
- Familiarity with the Service Now Integration Hub for implementing APIs.
- Experience with UI/UX design for Service Now portals and dashboards.
- Deep understanding of CMDB architecture, including discovery patterns and service mapping.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and automated testing tools for Service Now.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile teams with a focus on continuous delivery.
- Certified Service Now Application Developer
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practices and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Service Now Gen AI capabilities.
- Experience in Financial Services environments, for example compliance, regulation, and risk will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and experience in stakeholder management. Ability to prioritize the tasks and work in an efficient way in the planned release timelines.
