Corporate Communications Marketing Executive

John Sisk & Son, winners of the 2023 PRII Awards for 'Best Long-Term PR Campaign' aims to further expand its corporate communications team. Ireland's largest construction contractor seeks a skilled communications executive to bolster its in-house communications team, located in our brand-new offices in Citywest, Dublin.

The Corporate Communications Marketing Executive will have an interest and ideally 2 – 3 years’ experience in corporate communications, PR, social media, marketing and brand management. They will be self-motivated and want to be part of a small, dynamic in-house communications team. This person will source content, stories and corporate communications ideas primarily for our external channels. They will also be required to respond to the day to day business needs and support the efficient data gathering and reporting across corporate comms activities such as social media, website, event management, email marketing and traditional media – via advertising and PR.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, research, writing and preparation of content for all corporate communications channels, as part of the Communications Team, in particular the website and social media
• Build and develop relationships across the business to ensure you are aware of key initiatives
• Help manage the access to key corporate collateral and materials and support the business’s attendance at various industry events
• Track and measure the effectiveness of communication and engagement plans
• Maintenance of files and archives of content, contact details and people profiles to support the communication output

Experience & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• A self-starter, with high energy, initiative and a solution focused, can do attitude
• The person will be adept at liaising with people and building relationships across the business
• Creativity and the ability to devise both written and visual communication plans using tools appropriate for internal audiences
• Share Point, social media and Power Point desired
• Confidence presenting on video (e.g. Tik Tok, company videos etc.) an advantage but not essential
• PR agency or in-house corporate communications or marketing experience desire

Desirable Training

• A qualification in Journalism, PR, Marketing or Communications (ideally degree level)
• Graphic design, web design, video editing skills
