Broker Relationship Manager - Dublin

You will be responsible for strengthening broker relationships and driving sales growth across the Irish Insurance market. You'll work closely with both new and existing brokers, leveraging your expertise to identify opportunities, increase brand awareness, and support corporate events.
The Role
- Manage and optimise Strategic Accounts, through regular reviews, maintaining accurate meeting records and creation / provision of Strategic account monthly management information.
- Identify and deliver new broker opportunities within the Irish market, both new agency and additional product lines for existing accounts.
- Create a broker communications plan (with the Marketing Manager), provide support for BAU product launch / change market communications and co-ordinate corporate events.
- Identify market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments in order to identify opportunities or threats to the business.
- Provide detailed / timely broker feedback and deliver broker development priorities (in conjunction with the Technical Underwriting Team), with a particular focus on profitable account growth.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and support to brokers, working with the Underwriting Teams to constantly improve our service offering.
- Drive open market outbound activity, by adding new agencies and optimising existing accounts, by managing the Business Engagement Advisor and working with the Development Underwriters.
- Maintain a professional focus on increased brand awareness and market presence through broker relationships and attendance of industry events.
- Co-ordinate corporate events, including set-up, deployment and lessons learned.
- Support the ROI Director / Group Operations Director in driving broker distribution growth via all software platform.
- Compliant with all Company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety procedures
- Carrying out any other functions deemed necessary to facilitate the effective operation of the Department.
- Longstanding background in the insurance industry (3+ years)
- Experienced in managing brokers
- Ability to network with Brokers
- Experience driving new business and nurturing existing business
- Full license due to travel require with role
